1/ Hometown: Houston, TX

2/ Military background: Served for five years in the US Navy as a Surface Warfare Officer with tours on USS DECATUR DDG-73 and USS CARNEY DDG-64.

3/ Why did you join the military: To serve my country, see the world, and meet great people along the way.

4/ Where are you going to school: Undergraduate at United States Air Force Academy, class of 2017. Currently a rising MBA2 at Columbia Business School, class of 2024.

5/ Favorite books:
Endurance by Alfred Lansing.

It documents Sir Ernest Shackleton’s failed 1914-1917 Imperial Trans-Antarctic Expedition. Shackleton and 27 crew members were forced to abandon ship when Endurance became trapped in an ice pack, eventually sinking, leaving the crew no choice but to travel miles over ice to navigate the Drake passage in lifeboats - all crew members survived the 3 year ordeal. Incredibly, Endurance was found in March 2022 perfectly preserved 107 years later.

Man’s Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl.

You can’t help but be inspired to lead a better life and be grateful for what you have after reading how Frankl responded to his experience surviving the Holocaust. Truly a moving and introspective read.

6/ Favorite movies: Tenet and Christopher Nolan films.

7/ Hobbies: Snow sports, scuba diving, rugby, & reading.

8/ Favorite sports team: Philadelphia Eagles
